As part of our ongoing collaboration with the European Consortium for Political Research (ECPR), Ðǿմ«Ã½was present at the , held in Dublin, Ireland, from 12-15 August 2024.

Ðǿմ«Ã½Panel
Chaired by Theresa Reidy, with Emilia Palonen as discussant, the Ðǿմ«Ã½panel Democratic Innovations in South Korea: Experiments and Prospects, was held on 14 August. The panel included three papers dealing with different aspects of democratic innovations in South Korea. The first paper, presented by Euiyoung Kim, explores community-based learning as a pedagogy for democratic innovation. The second paper, presented by Joohyung Kim, evaluates deliberative mini-publics in South Korea. The third paper, presented by Hyeon Su Seo, proposes the concept of "dynamic democracy" and reviews democratic innovations around the world.

IPSA’s Virtual Booth
Ðǿմ«Ã½held a virtual exhibition booth. Participants had the opportunity to explore IPSA’s wide range of activities, educational programs, recent publications, and gain insights into the upcoming 2025 Ðǿմ«Ã½World Congress of Political Science, to be held in Seoul, South Korea. 

Ðǿմ«Ã½World Congress Information Session
The Ðǿմ«Ã½World Congress team also hosted a virtual Zoom session for ECPR General Conference participants on Wednesday, 14 August. The session focused on several aspects of the upcoming Ðǿմ«Ã½World Congress, including the paper and panel submission process, Ðǿմ«Ã½travel grants, awards, deadlines, and sessions available to participants.
