ÐÇ¿Õ´«Ã½is proud to celebrate the 20th anniversary of its Permanent Secretariat in ²Ñ´Ç²Ô³Ù°ùé²¹±ô, Canada, commemorating two decades of scholarly contribution and impact within the global political science community. In 2006, ÐÇ¿Õ´«Ã½permanently established its Secretariat in ²Ñ´Ç²Ô³Ù°ùé²¹±ô with support from Concordia University and ²Ñ´Ç²Ô³Ù°ùé²¹±ô International. ÐÇ¿Õ´«Ã½and Concordia University have since renewed their partnership five times, most recently in 2025, effectively securing IPSA's presence in ²Ñ´Ç²Ô³Ù°ùé²¹±ô until at least 2030.

To mark this milestone, ÐÇ¿Õ´«Ã½will present a series of academic events in May and June 2026 with the support of the Konrad-Adenauer Foundation (KAS) Canada and in collaboration with Concordia University, the University of Ottawa, the Canadian Political Science Association (CPSA), and the Société québécoise de science politique (SQSP). Events will be held in ²Ñ´Ç²Ô³Ù°ùé²¹±ô and Ottawa.
