The American Political Science Association’s (APSA) 121st Annual Meeting will take place in Vancouver, Canada, from 11 to 14 September 2025, under the theme IPSA’s President-Elect, Yuko Kasuya, Executive Director Kim Fontaine-Skronski, and several Executive Committee members will attend to participate in academic sessions and hold official meetings.

Participants: Dianne Pinderhughes (Ðǿմ«Ã½Past President, Notre Dame University); Azul A. Aguiar Aguilar (ITESO, the Jesuit University of Guadalajara); Marianne Kneuer (Ðǿմ«Ã½Past President, TU Dresden); Terri E. Givens (University of British Columbia); and Indrajit Roy (Ðǿմ«Ã½Executive Committee member, University of York).
This Ðǿմ«Ã½roundtable will explore the Trump administration’s transnational political impact, with a focus on its reverberations across Canada, Germany, Mexico, and the United States itself. Drawing on case studies from each country, the roundtable examines how Trump-era policies and rhetoric influenced foreign relations, fueled domestic political shifts, challenged multilateralism, and reshaped national identities.
