ÐÇ¿Õ´«Ã½Holds its 144th Executive Committee Meeting in Seoul

ÐÇ¿Õ´«Ã½held its 144th Executive Committee meeting on 4-5 November 2023 in Seoul, South Korea, the host city of the 2025 ÐÇ¿Õ´«Ã½World Congress. In keeping with ÐÇ¿Õ´«Ã½tradition, the Korean Political Science Association (KPSA) hosted the EC meeting sessions and related meetings at the Seoul National University. ÐÇ¿Õ´«Ã½would like to extend its heartfelt gratitude to the leadership of the Korean Association, the Co-Chairs of the Local Organizing Committee (LOC), Euiyoung Kim and Ajin Choi, and the Seoul National University for their kind support and hospitality.
The Seoul EC meeting presented an opportunity for ÐÇ¿Õ´«Ã½leadership, EC members and the ÐÇ¿Õ´«Ã½Secretariat to conduct various meetings and site visits as part of the preparations for the upcoming 2025 ÐÇ¿Õ´«Ã½World Congress of Political Science.
Meeting with Seoul Mayor Oh Se-Hoon
ÐÇ¿Õ´«Ã½leaders, accompanied by LOC Co-Chair Euiyoung Kim, received a cordial welcome from Seoul Mayor Oh Se-hoon at a luncheon ceremony held at City Hall on 2 November. Mayor Oh Se-Hoon expressed his excitement to host the 2025 ÐÇ¿Õ´«Ã½World Congress in Seoul and reiterated his strong support for this international event which will gather IPSA's political science community in Seoul.
Site Visit of the 2025 ÐÇ¿Õ´«Ã½World Congress Venue
EC members toured the city and visited the Coex Convention & Exhibition Center, the host venue for the 2025 ÐÇ¿Õ´«Ã½World Congress of Political Science. Coex Convention Center representatives provided EC members with information about the venue and its facilities.
Seoul National University Reception
Seoul National University President Ryu Hong Lim hosted a reception for ÐÇ¿Õ´«Ã½EC members on 4 November. The event was held at Seoul National University, fostering a cooperative atmosphere between the university leadership and ÐÇ¿Õ´«Ã½EC members. The event highlighted Seoul National University's support of the 2025 ÐÇ¿Õ´«Ã½World Congress of Political Science.
